The subjects that were chosen was the population of people 14 years and old. The survey method was by telephone and by computer assisted telephone interviews. The GFK online monitor did 4,000 telephone interviews per quarter in order to find out the interests that the people had in the internet. On a scale of one to 100 with 100 being the most internet users, in 1998 there were 16 regular internet users, 19 internet users as least some of the time, and 27 had internet access. In 2008, these totals rose to 63 regular internet users, 67 internet user at least some of the time, and 71 that had access to the internet. The GFK online monitor then broke this down to where the internet was used.
